After a local speech I gave in October, I found myself having conversations with different people regarding finding courage in their lives. I noticed one common thread within these discussions, which was, we can not live a courageous life without disappointing some people along the way. However, it’s important we take note of who these people are because I believe that the people who genuinely care about us and are cheering for our success will never be “disappointed” in us. This is because they understand failure, forgiveness, hope and the meaning of encouragement.
